Hi there!

My name is Trudy Nelson and I am the creator of Trudy's Boutique.
I started Trudy's Boutique in 2013, after my mum, Trish (pictured above) was diagnosed with breast cancer. During this stressful time I found my passion for sewing as a de-stress and escapism hobby. I also found a knack and talent for making hair accessories.
I created the best selling wired hair tie as a way for people without any hair to be able to wear hair accessories (or men, as my dad is so lovingly styling, pictured above).
Now all these years on, Trudy's Boutique sells a multitude of hand made accessories, all made using Eco-friendly, animal friendly and vegan friendly methods and materials.
I also work alongside Macmillan and Alopecia charities to make a distribute hair accessories to people who need them.
